Within the Affiliate Business Zone there are two Main Types, both types can fail if you do not promote them adequately and both types can bring in money fast or slowly.
This depends on your advertising capabilities and dedication.
First Type - Direct Sales
The First type (sometimes called PFP - Pay For Performance) you can promote a product or business without joining any site
or buying any products.
These can be found through programs like:

No Outlay on Product or Investment required.
You simply find a product (amounst the businesses that are advertised within the site) that you think will sell well and then you promote it (as an affiliate or publisher) and the owner of the site (the advertiser or merchant) will pay you a percentage of the sale.
Disadvantages
These must be constantly reviewed, updated and worked at...
no retirement plan and no "hands-off" income will ever be
available. Effective Advertising can be Expensive.
Second Type - Residual Income
This type of Affiliate marketing may be free to join but they usually charge for upgrades or you will find that
in order to succeed you will need to

can vary between $10 and $25,000 dollars.
However I have only listed those with a maximum Upgrade Fee
of UNDER $3,000
or a Monthly Fee of Under $100.

If they are listed here I concider then - either through personal experience or personally recieved accounts (NO HYPE) to be worth the investment.

Long Term Income. These are the "hands-off" money earners.
This means that, although you may spend a month or two or maybe as much as two or three years building up your business,
(depending on the amount of time and money you invest),
you Will end up with a Great Income which will continue long after you have retired.
Disadvantages
To succeed fast there must be some investment. However, this
investment is usually repaid 10 fold within a short period.
